Job Description

  • Full-Time 
  • Timely and accurate perform shipping and receiving functions
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  •  Maintain an inventory of packaging products including labels, boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap and packing tape
  • Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large items.
  • Initial inspection for damage, correct quantity and part type
  • Data entry of PO receipt in ERP Computer System
  • Notification of receipts to originating party
  • Prepare Incoming Inspection paperwork
  • Accurate distribution of materials
  • Delivery/pickup of outsourced material
  • Assist Operations with other tasks and special projects
  • Prepare products and other items for shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, boxing, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  •  One year of related shipping and warehouse experience

EDUCATION, COMPETENCE, TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Word, Excel, ERP software
  • Experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, basic mathematical skills
  • Forklift experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
