We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities will include:

• Sustaining Engineering for Production
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations
  • Evaluate manufacturing complaints (including low yield rates)
  • Plan and implement design changes and process changes to improve existing manufactured products
  • Verify and validate changes per Maxtec Operational Procedures and Quality Manual.
  • Review and approve documents requiring Engineering Approval (NCMR, DCO, etc.)
• New Product Development
  • Implement new products into production manufacturing

REQUIRED:

• Note: Position is for afternoon / evening shift. Candidate must be available for work between 12:00 and 9:00 PM
• B.S. degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• 0- to 3-years experience
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and drawing software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

DESIRED:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in medical-device development and manufacturing
• Proficiency with SolidWorks
• Proficiency with technical writing
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time-management skills
