Maxim Staffing in Seattle is currently hiring an experienced Psychologist who is interested in a 5 month contract for a DOC facility, south of Seattle

Duties:
• Supervises doctoral level psychologists in an institution, directs and coordinates work of psychologists with that of other institution service programs.
• Serves as psychological consultant to Clinical Director, Superintendent and medical staff on problems involving psychological services.
• Plans, executes, and participates in treatment programs.
• Serves as consultant to diagnostic, intake, treatment, and disposition staff.
• Provides individual and group psychotherapy to patients.
• Does psychodiagnostic testing of patients and employees.
• Participates in training and education of institution staff in psychological field.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• State license required
• If out of state, must be willing to get WA state license and there is some reciprocity with WA state on Psychologist licenses
• Temp to perm possibility
• Prior to start TB, Physical, and CPR would be required
• Open to supervisory roles would be a plus as their will be some responsibilities that involve some leadership
Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited school or department of Psychology whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and possession of a current license to practice psychology in the state of Washington.
Each employee is expected to maintain and adhere to the continuing education requirements for the applicable professional credential.
Each employee must adhere to legislation and/or law changes that may affect current licensure and/or registration requirements.
Desired: Three years of Postdoctoral Psychology experience, including one year of experience in forensic psychology.
