Job Description

The specialist in raw materials research has the responsibility of supporting the coordinator in the research of fabrics/Jersey/yarns from the collection under her responsibility. The main objectives are:

  •  Support the coordinator/PM in guaranteeing the completeness of the fabric/yarn proposal while respecting the identity of the Brand and the collection project received.
  • Select the materials and prepare their orders in coordination with the coordinator and PM in compliance with the shared planning and stylistic inputs received.

Qualifications

  • Participates in the creative planning of the collection with internal/external stylists, interacting with them together with the coordinator and PM in the choice of materials to be developed in the collection
  • Independently manages the selection of materials and their orders in coordination with the coordinator. and PM in compliance with the shared planning and stylistic inputs received.
  • Based on the needs of the collection, activates specific research directly involving the fabric research office.
  • Remains updated in terms of fabric/yarn research with respect to supplier proposals, competitors and the market, managing to make an effective and proactive contribution to the team.
  • Supports the coordinator in ensuring constant integration with the offices closely linked to fabric research activities/purchasing office.
  •  Supports the coordinator/PM in ensuring completeness of the fabric/yarn proposal respecting the identity of the Brand and the collection project received.
