According to the Oxford Dictionary, a maverick is an “unorthodox or an independent-minded person”, and this is precisely why we chose that name for our schools; we want to cultivate a generation of independent-minded, unorthodox thinkers and doers whose creative endeavors leave a mark on the world.

At Mavericks, we believe in supporting teachers, so that they may become the best version of themselves. Mavericks’ Professional Development program is a full year experience, with extensive workshops in the summer and follow-up in the fall, winter, and spring terms.

• At least 2 years teaching or co-teaching experience, preferably in a progressive learning environment.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (required for all positions, except Arabic staff, whereby good English comprehension skills are required)
