About the role

We are looking for a Lawyer with 2–3 years' PAE to join our national Superannuation & Insurance Litigation team on a full-time, permanent basis, based in our Sydney or Melbourne office. This role will suit candidates looking to make their mark within the Firm while helping everyday Australians.

This is a genuinely dynamic role, where the successful applicant will provide strategic input on claims and run a broad range of litigated matters — from Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and Income Protection disputes to large and complex home insurance claims, to complicated disputes over financial advice. No two matters look the same, and you'll be building broad expertise across insurance, superannuation and civil litigation in multiple jurisdictions.

Our Superannuation & Insurance team assists individuals with their:

  • TPD, Income Protection, Trauma and Life claims against the life insurance cover attached to their superannuation or held directly. This gives individuals and their families a level of financial security when they're no longer able to work, or provides financial support to their family after their death;
  • general insurance disputes (Home & Contents, Car and Marine); and
  • claims against financial advisers and institutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, well-respected and market leading team and firm. If you're driven, motivated, and looking for a fast-paced, supportive work environment, consider advancing your career at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers.
