About the role
Join our Perth CBD office as a Lawyer in the Personal Injuries Team. With a diverse client base, the work is challenging and rewarding with excellent career development opportunities. In joining the team, you will become part of our experienced group of specialised Lawyers who are passionate about extending justice to everyone who needs it. Your role will focus on providing a seamless and supportive client experience, helping individuals achieve favourable outcomes during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients and taking instructions
- Drafting special damages
- Review and analysis of records
- Drafting written communications to clients
- Briefing medical experts and allied health professionals
- Drafting court documents
- Attending court for procedural hearings
- Briefing and liaising with barristers
The experience we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a strong client service focus, personable approach, and commitment to social justice. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
- 2+ years Post Admission Experience (PAE): You should have a solid foundation of legal practice and experience
- Experience in Personal Injuries: We are looking for someone who has worked within a personal injuries’ environment, with a background in handling road, work, or public liability matters
- Team Collaboration: The ability to work effectively within a team is crucial. You should be adept at collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
- Proactive File Management: Demonstrated experience in taking a proactive approach to managing files is essential. You should be able to handle cases efficiently and anticipate potential issues before they arise
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of your work
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. You should have a proven track record of providing high-level client service and maintaining positive client relationships
