Job Description

This role is a critical extension of the General Manager, Commercial Finance and operates at the Group level. You will provide centralised analytical support to divisional Commercial Finance Business Partners, ensuring that group-wide financial insights are accurate, consistent, and actionable.

As our Commercial Finance Business Analyst, you will design and maintain best-in-class driver-based models to inform strategic and operational decisions across the organisation. You will partner closely with divisional management teams and corporate services functions, taking the time to understand business drivers and supporting them with insights that shape performance, pricing, and investment decisions.

This is a unique opportunity to work across the entire Group, combining technical excellence in modelling with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an extension of the GM Commercial Finance, providing high-quality analysis and insight to support group-wide decisions
  • Build, maintain, and enhance central driver-based financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Partner with divisional Commercial Finance Business Partners to ensure consistency of financial assumptions, reporting, and insights across the Group
  • Deliver bespoke analysis and data-driven recommendations that shape commercial strategy
  • Develop group-level pricing, profitability, and valuation models to inform key initiatives
  • Embed reporting tools and performance dashboards into divisional rhythms, ensuring alignment with group objectives
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

Experience & Capabilities

We’re looking for someone who can blend technical excellence with commercial curiosity, and who enjoys working across multiple business units to drive outcomes at scale.

  • Experience across Big 4 Audit/Consulting and in-house industry roles, ideally with exposure to multi-division organisations
  • Advanced financial modelling expertise (preferably with enterprise FP&A tools)
  • Strong financial acumen with CA/CPA qualification preferred
  • Proven ownership of budget & forecasting processes at a group or divisional level
  • Experience with DCF analysis, business valuation, and pricing models
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels
  • Success embedding performance reporting and modelling tools across multiple teams
  • Ability to prioritise in a matrix environment and manage multiple stakeholders
