Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking a Coupa Analyst (3–5 years experience) to support and enhance the enterprise **Coupa Software platform. The role focuses on functional analysis, system configuration support, production issue resolution, and business process optimization across Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable) and technical teams to ensure smooth Coupa operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Business Analysis
Work with Procurement, Finance, and AP teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
Translate business needs into Coupa functional configurations and process changes.
Support design and optimization of Source-to-Pay (S2P) workflows.
Coupa Platform Support
Support configuration and maintenance of Coupa modules such as:
Procurement (Requisitions & Purchase Orders)
Invoicing (AP automation)
Supplier Information Management (SIM)
Expenses (if applicable)
Manage:
Approval workflows
Business rules and validations
User roles and access controls
Perform system monitoring and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Incident & Production Support
Handle L2/L3 support tickets and service requests.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate fixes.
Support release activities, patches, and enhancements.
Ensure timely resolution of system issues impacting business operations.
Integrations & Data Support
Support data flows between Coupa and ERP systems (Oracle / SAP / Workday).
Validate inbound/outbound integration data (JSON, XML, flat files).
Assist technical teams in troubleshooting integration issues.
Support data uploads, reconciliations, and reporting validation.
Testing & Change Management
Support UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
Prepare test scenarios and assist business users during testing cycles.
Support change requests and release documentation.
Documentation & Governance
Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and process flows.
Ensure compliance with procurement and financial governance standards.
Support audit requirements related to procurement processes.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in Coupa or similar procurement/ERP platforms.
Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Experience in:
Coupa functional configuration
Workflow management
Business rule setup
Production support
Basic understanding of integrations (API / JSON / XML).
Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle / SAP / Workday).
Preferred Skills
Experience in Coupa implementation or support projects.
Knowledge of supplier onboarding and invoice automation processes.
Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery model.
Basic SQL or data validation skills.
Coupa certification is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication with business and IT teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a support environment
Attention to detail and process orientation
Strong ownership and accountability
