Job Title: Capstan Setter Operator

Location: Walsall (WS9)

Salary: £9.00 – £12.00 Per hour

Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:30am – 4:30pm / Friday 7:30am – 2:00pm

Our client are an established engineering company based in Walsall and have been established for over 15 years. They are currently seeking a Capstan Setter Operator to join their team due to further expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced to work for a family orientated company that has a genuine interest in the success of its employees.

The Capstan Setter Operator will be:

• Turning
• Screwing
• Drilling
• Setting and using die heads
• Working from drawings
• Producing parts to a high standard
• Quality checking work

The ideal Capstan Setter Operator will have:

• Ability to work to high standards
• An understanding of working with tolerances
• Have proven experience of setting and operating a Capstan
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail
• Experience with inspection tools such as Verniers and Caliper Gauges
