Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer

Location: Walsall (WS9)

Salary: £11.00 – £13.00 Per hour

Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:30am – 4:30pm / Friday 7:30am – 2:00pm

Our client are an established engineering company based in Walsall and have been established for over 15 years. They are currently seeking a CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer to join their team due to further expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced to work for a family orientated company that has a genuine interest in the success of its employees.

The CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer will be:

• Working to fine tolerances
• Setting up tools, jaws and fixtures on CNC machines
• Running jobs from start to finish
• Programming/Setting and Operating upto 2 Machines
• Milling and Turning from Solid Bar
• Working from Engineering Drawings

The CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer will have:

• Previous experience operating 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines
• Good, positive working attitude and excellent attention to detail
• Experience of FANUC controls
• Ability to examine and modify CNC programmes is essential
• You will be able to read & understand engineering drawings.
• Be able to use measuring equipment.
• Be confident in tool and fixture changing.
• Must be familiar with working on 1 off designs or small batch work
