Job Description
The Commercial Bath Analytics Manager will optimize and manage analytics platforms for the Bath Product Management team to further data-driven decision-making, identify portfolio opportunities, improve efficiencies, improve revenue, and deliver profitability growth and increased market share. This role is responsible for driving analysis of business data and converting it into actionable insights by integrating data from various sources, applying data modeling techniques, storing the data in data lakes, and finally developing impactful reports and dashboards that monitor and analyze product performance. The Bath Business Analytics Manager will maintain thorough documentation of data models, analytics processes and reporting standards and also will train team members on data visualization tools. This role will report directly to the Sr Manager, Category Management & Analytics.
Responsibilities:
Cover data preparation, modeling, visualization and dashboard creation.
Collect data from various sources such as ERP, Product Information Management Software (PIM), internal financial systems, and Retailers Point of Sales databases.
Collaborate with product engineers and other data owners to drive data integrity and ensure high quality business insights are delivered.
Collaborate closely with business intelligence teams to optimize data flow and automation.
Work closely with product management, finance and sales partners to understand data needs and applied business logic to develop meaningful performance metrics.
Reports and dashboards development in Microsoft PowerBI and Excel.
Analyze and monitor product sales and profitability performance to identify business opportunities.
Communicate findings to product managers, sales partners and executive leaders.
Train team members on visualization tools to maximize reports and dashboards usage and understanding.
Document thoroughly data models, analytics processes and reporting standards to ensure consistency, clarity and continuity.
Stay up-to-date with the latest analytics trends and advancements in data analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data science, computer science, or a related field is required.
Proven working experience as a Business Analytics Manager, or similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing end-to-end data workflows to support strategic decision-making.
Strong knowledge of data workflows, including ETL processes, and data pipeline creation to deliver semantic models.
Relevant data analytics certifications or willingness to achieve (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
Proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and handling large datasets.
Working experience with: PowerQuery and PowerBI (required) as well as Azure, Snowflake and Salsify (PIM) (preferred).
Strong business acumen.
Passionate analytical, problem solver with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Ability to travel occasionally.
