Job Description

The Senior Manager of Regional Sales (East) will report directly to the Vice President of Sales, Canada. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies aimed at driving profitable growth across all Canadian Dealer and Home Center available brands. The individual will be responsible for managing sales within the assigned region, focusing on Home Builder, Home Center, and Dealer development in Eastern territories, ensuring close interaction with customers across all markets. Additionally, this position will include responsibility for reporting on sales and margin goals.

 

YOUR ROLE:

 

  • Develops market strategies for both Home Center and Dealer channels, leveraging our brand portfolio.
  • Ensures that sales targets for the Eastern territories are met or surpassed.
  • Manages sales representatives for Eastern region – Ontario, Quebec, and Maritimes.
  • Analyzes Home Center and Dealer level sales data and establishes insights to highlight opportunities and risk.
  • Develops selling strategies to respond effectively to market conditions.
  • Focuses on assisting representatives with priority accounts.
  • Monitors and supports sales goals for all Eastern territories such as the Greater Toronto Area, Southwestern Ontario, Northeast Ontario, Quebec, and Maritimes.
  • Improves the margin and reduces margin erosion.
  • Develops new accounts and serves as a liaison to the sales team.
  • Conducts monthly reviews and generates sales and margin reports for all Eastern territories.
  • Manages the Eastern sales team SPA and pricing requests.
  • Aligns resources with strategy, sets clear expectations and establishes boundaries; manages rep performance.
  • Supports team atmosphere where team members work together in pursuit of a common mission; encourages open communication, establishes positive climate.
  • Manages execution of strategic sales plan, including prioritization of activities.
  • Manages and reports on Eastern sales initiatives and action plans.
  • Consistently demonstrates the MasterBrand Way, positioning the company for growth and helping identify opportunities to reduce waste, complexity, and improve our work environment.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge of all MasterBrand strategic business units. Leverages ideas from other reviews and co-workers to provide value-added recommendations and best practices to others. 
  • Demonstrates teamwork by responsively collaborating with MasterBrand upper management, team members, and channel partners, sharing information and ideas, proactively seeking, and accepting constructive feedback, and accepting additional assignments when appropriate.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-secondary education in a business or related field is required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in sales management.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading a sales team.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time while driving or operating their computer and performing office type work. The individual needs to frequently travel to all assigned customer locations. They must constantly operate office productivity machinery such as computers, tablets, and printer. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the field. The individual must have the ability to read documents, instructions, emails, and computer screens, as well as see details on printed materials and presentations.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position involves working from a home office with travel required 25-50% of the time for customer meetings, and sales representative support. The job occasionally requires exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud noises.
