Job Description
The Financial Manager will lead financial management of eCommerce business and report to the Director, Commercial Finance Home Center and eCommerce. The Manager, Commercial Finance eCommerce, is an integral part of supporting the eCommerce customers and continued growth initiatives. This position will collaborate closely with the sales team and their respective senior members of management to report financials, drive profitability and accurate forecasts, and manage day-to-day tasks.
YOUR ROLE:
Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the profitability and viability of current and new business opportunities.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Partner with Sales, Operations and SIOP team to develop monthly demand plans and ensure accuracy to drive operational planning and mitigate OSMI.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
Manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for sales, margin and ESG&A, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Prepare sales related journal entries and account reconciliations and conduct quarterly alignment meetings with Sales.
Provide monthly financial reporting, reviews and variance analysis for income statements and balance sheet statements.
Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities related to business initiatives monthly.
Develop business cases and financial models to support new business initiatives and partnerships.
Review and analyze promotional opportunities and effectiveness in collaboration with Sales.
Work closely with sales, product, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment of business strategies and financial goals.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide financial perspectives and insights on business development and growth initiatives.
Support the preparation of presentations and reports for executive management and stakeholders.
Ensures financial integrity by following established procedures and company internal controls that are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), MasterBrand policies, Code of Conduct, and other applicable guidelines.
Qualifications
An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (or Chartered Accountant equivalent), Certified Management Accountant, and/or Master of Business Administration is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of financial analysis and management with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 6 years with a Master’s Degree
Understand of and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and/or International financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Sarbanes Oxley, cost accounting and accounting acumen.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently engage with internal and external groups and across multiple departments or functions. Strong organization skills with the ability to Ability to manage multiple priorities in an efficient and effective manner.
Ability to critically assess and simplify processes and controls, and challenge business drivers and risks. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures
Positive with a customer-focus attitude and approach. Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
Excellent analytical, communication (oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to take complex subject matter and package in a story-board format that is clear and simple.
Optimizes work processes; creates efficient workflow and seeks ways to improve processes.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to extract data.
Previous experience with Power BI is a plus.
Previous experience with Lead 80/20 principles is a plus.
Ability to travel 10% to 15% annually (domestic & international).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
