Job Description

The purpose of the role of Head of Learning is to design and deliver a strategy that enables the delivery team to develop a portfolio of courses and apprenticeships, along with other revenue generating activity, in an innovative and agile manner.

You will be directly responsible for a team of learning experts, ensuring market leading quality in how and what we are delivering that goes beyond our customers expectations and grows our already highly regarded learning programmes.

  • Accountability for the success of Marshall Centre delivery, across all curriculums and product streams
  • Manage the strategic initiatives of Marshall Centre working collaboratively across the organisation to ensure successful delivery.
  • Communicate the strategic direction to the delivery team helping shape the growth and development of our culture and ensure we harness the power of an agile structure that gives people the flexibility to generate new ideas that help meet our ambitions.
  • Engage with the wider Marshall community to foster collaboration, supporting the growth and development of the Strategy practice.
  • Develop and engage an external network, maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Being at the cutting edge of Technology trends and Digital disruptors that impact Organisation Strategy (OD and Strategic Change)
  • Work thoughtfully to resolve complex problems both internally and for customers.
  • Accountable manager for Ofsted and other Auditing Organisations, developing the SAR (Self-Assessment Report) with the Compliance & Quality Manager
  • Accountable for delivering the budget in line with the Marshall Centre financial strategy.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a senior L&D role.
  • Ambitious, innovative and persuasive.
  • A confident networker and presenter.
  • Ability to present and deliver high quality content.
  • Proven background of assessment, delivery and evaluation of learning.
  • Experience of continuous learning, use of the levy and early careers.
  • Expertise across a variety of learning styles and platforms.
