Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

The Delivery Architect is a solution-focused technical professional responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing CA Single Sign-On (formerly SiteMinder) solutions based on the customer business and technical requirements. The Delivery Architect is expected to support the solution throughout all stages of the solution lifecycle: from initial investigation to the deployment of the solution in production and eventually post-production enhancement. The Delivery Architect should have hands on implementation experience.

  • Design and implement enterprise-wide access management and single sign-on infrastructure built on CA Single Sign-On, including proxy and federation components

  • Work closely with application development teams to design and implement coarse- and fine-granted access control on a Java portal platform

  • Design and deploy federations with internal systems and external organizations, provide assistance to IT staff where necessary

  • Administer and support production CA Single Sign-On infrastructure components including policy servers, proxies, databases, and directories.

  • Establish and document standards for authentication, authorization, federation, and web services security as related to the Single Sign-On environment.

  • Where necessary, write custom code to integrate a particular application with Single Sign-On.

  • Work closely with Identity Management team to ensure proper provisioning of Single Sign-On users.

  • Assist with trouble shooting and incident response.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Federated Identities is mandatory.

  • 10+ years’ experience implementing security in a large-scale system integration projects through the entire software development life cycle. 

  • Extensive Java and other programming language development experience.

  • Extensive hands-on Single Sign-On experience, particularly in a portal environment.

  • Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Federated Identity Management solutions.

  • Experienced with Federated identity and Web Services security concepts.

  • Experience in other Identity Management products is a plus. Single Sign-On architecture experience with products such as Oracle Access Manager and Sun Access Manager (OpenSSO) is an asset.

  • Knowledge of SOA-based security is an asset.

  • Expertise with application servers such as WebSphere. Weblogic,  and JBOSS.

  • Experience implementing message flows utilizing HTTP transports.

  • Knowledge and experience in WS standards including WS-Security.

  • Experienced with plug ins for CA SSO such as active policies and active responses.

  • Experience implementing messages (XML, XSD, XSL, and XSLT) and WebServices (WSDL, SOAP, and UDDI).

  • Expertise in various security fields including access control, authorization, identification and authentication, public key infrastructure, network, and enterprise security architecture is required.

  • Experience developing complex multi-dimensional enterprise architectures and ability to understand and design solutions that consider integration of heterogeneous environments and systems is essential.

  • Demonstrate experience applying security risk assessment methodology to system development, including threat model development, vulnerability assessments, and security risk analysis.

  • Experience with detailed requirements gathering and documentation, writing approach documents, whitepapers, and design documents.

  • Experience working with individuals at all levels of a large organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science is preferred.
