Job Description
Are you a direct marketer who loves bringing campaigns to life, understanding what makes supporters respond and using insight to make the next campaign even stronger?
We’re looking for an Individual Giving Fundraiser to join Marie Curie’s Mass Fundraising team, helping to deliver engaging fundraising campaigns that recruit, inspire and retain our supporters.
You’ll join a team of fundraisers raising approximately £60 million each year, with the opportunity to manage campaigns across direct mail and digital channels and make a tangible contribution to our fundraising ambitions.

- Plan and project manage online and offline fundraising campaigns.
- Work with agencies and internal teams to develop engaging creative, copy and campaign materials.
- Support audience targeting and segmentation across digital and direct mail activity.
- Manage campaign budgets and keep a close eye on costs and value for money.
- Analyse performance and testing results, turning insight into recommendations for future campaigns.
- Work collaboratively across teams including Digital, Finance, Supporter Relations, Database Services and Storytelling.
- Help ensure supporters receive a consistently high standard of care and communication.
What we’re looking for
You don’t necessarily need to come from the charity sector. We’re interested in people who can bring strong direct marketing and campaign management experience from fundraising, marketing, sales or a similarly results-driven environment. Charity-sector experience is desirable, rather than essential.
You’ll bring:
- Experience delivering customer or supporter development campaigns using direct marketing channels.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience managing campaign budgets and analysing performance.
- Confidence working with external agencies, suppliers or freelancers.
- Good numerical skills and the ability to turn campaign results into meaningful improvements.
