Job Description
As Celebrity & VIP Lead, you'll help build and nurture relationships with celebrities, VIPs, influencers, ambassadors, and their representatives, ensuring every supporter has an exceptional experience with Marie Curie. You'll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, supporting campaigns and events, and helping maximise the impact of celebrity engagement across fundraising, media, marketing, and public affairs activity
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll coordinate media opportunities, support high-profile events, manage stakeholder relationships, conduct due diligence, and help ensure celebrity engagement delivers measurable outcomes for the charity.
Your Impact:
- Building and stewarding relationships with celebrities, VIPs, influencers and their teams.
- Identifying and developing new celebrity engagement opportunities that support awareness, influence and fundraising goals.
- Supporting media interviews, photoshoots, events, campaigns, podcasts and digital content opportunities.
- Providing outstanding supporter care and logistical support before, during and after engagements.
- Collaborating with teams across PR, Marketing, Fundraising, Policy and Campaigning to maximise impact.
- Conducting due diligence and identifying potential reputational risks.
- Monitoring celebrity and social media activity to identify opportunities and inform team planning.
- Supporting reporting, evaluation and measurement against agreed KPIs.
Key Criteria:
- Experience working with celebrities, VIPs, influencers or other high-profile stakeholders.
- Experience managing relationships and delivering outstanding stakeholder stewardship.
- Experience of managing logistics for celebrities& VIPs at relevant events.
- Experience supporting media, social media, podcast or PR activity.
- Strong knowledge of UK media, digital and social media channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, think proactively and remain calm under pressure.
- Experience working with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of reputation management, due diligence and GDPR principles.

Salary: £38,007 - £42,230 plus LW were applicable (£3,500) must be in London office 2 days per week
Contract: Full time
Based: Hybrid role based in London, with regular travel to events. Please note this role will include some evening and weekend working.
