Job Description

Maricich is seeking an accomplished account / client engagement director to lead our client services team. The account director will set the tone and expectations for the department and drive strategies for client and agency growth. The director will manage the day-to-day workload associated with his/her accounts and demonstrate detail oriented project oversight in line with client business and marketing strategy. In addition, the account director will be client facing and must be able to facilitate professional interactions and communications with clients and the agency team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned healthcare marketer with an entrepreneurial mindset who desires to build a department of giants while serving as an important member of the agency leadership team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day client relationships and project related activities as a subset of a best practice account management process implemented consistently across the department and cross-functionally within the agency.  Establish and clarify expected business outcomes for initiatives / assignments as part of a holistic approach to long-term / win-win client-agency relationships.

• Develop and provide branding / integrated marketing / digital expertise across various healthcare industries including consumer marketing for hospitals / health systems and B2B marketing for device and healthcare technology companies among others.

• Collaborate with strategic planning and facilitate the strategic process to conduct research, develop plans, recommendations, and briefs. Work with other agency functions to develop multichannel, multidisciplinary plans and recommendations.  Develop spending and budget recommendations and associated pricing / production requirements. Draft and route SOWs internally and with clients for approval.

• Brief creative and media teams on major new initiatives, review work and recommendations for completeness and accuracy, work with creative services, admin and other support roles to identify and orchestrate agency resources to ensure integrated, cross-functional solutions

• Help present work and recommendations to the client and secure client approvals

• Manage and track monthly client budget and work with accounting on preparation and delivery of company invoices 

• Champion new marketing initiatives on behalf of the brand

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

• B.A. or B.S. Degree in Business / Marketing or other complementary field 

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on client services experience with a branding / advertising / integrated marketing agency

• Experience working on healthcare accounts, brand development and/or integrated marketing campaigns 

• Self-motivated, dependable and can work independently while leading others as part of an integrated team

• Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects 

• Highly organized and detail oriented with proven experience of working well in a team environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

• Skilled in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and other complementary software
