Job Description

Maricich is seeking an exceptional Paid Search / SEM Manager to manage client digital ad campaigns and all aspects of the paid search campaigns, including planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate is responsible for day-to-day progress of client search engine marketing campaigns and ensuring timely completion and success of related tasks.

Qualifications

 

  • Manage all aspects of the Paid Search / SEM lifecycle, including keyword research, account creation, billing setup, campaign management, bid management, Multi-Channel Attribution, ad copy, landing pages, automation and staying up-to-date on best practices for SEM strategy.
  • Ability to support cross-functional agency teams, partners and clients
  • Testing and analysis of keywords, copy and landing pages to drive traffic
  • Key metrics analysis and monitoring of program tracking techniques to optimize campaigns
  • Ongoing knowledge of evolving SEM tools, trends, tactics, as resource for agency teams
  • Ensure copy and associated creative is optimized to maximize paid and organic search effectiveness
  • Bid analysis and optimization
  • General expertise in analytics, measurement, reporting activities and dashboards
  • Ability to aggregate and output data into visual reports communicating overall KPI related insight and recommendations
  • Develop and evolve tagging specs for campaigns and site functionality
  • Recommend appropriate analytics solutions to meet client objectives and assist team with API and configuration tools
  • Act as client and internal liaison for search and analytics activities by setting expectations, leading reporting calls, developing and delivering monthly strategic reports, communicating key metrics, goals and optimization opportunities
  • Keyword research and recommendations to paid initiatives
  • Ability to add value and support SEO efforts is not specifically required but is a plus

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Paid Search (PPC) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) in a management role overseeing multiple client paid-search accounts.
  • Experience using & reporting with popular PPC and CPM ad platforms (Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, DoubleClick, etc.
  • Execution experience and example of PPC ads including copy support
  • Experience using & reporting from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, SEMRush, and other relevant tools
  • Knowledge of coding HTTP, HTML, URL, meta-data, structured data & schema markup languages
  • Google AdWords* Certification, preferred.
  • Google Analytics* Certification, preferred.

  • BS/BA degree preferred. 

  • Understanding of multi-channel marketing, digital planning and strategy

  • Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
