Community Support Specialist
Looking to do meaningful work helping Children and Families in the community by providing case management, and other therapeutic based community and in-home services?
Maple Star Colorado, part of Pathways – one of the largest national providers of accessible, outcome-based behavioral and mental health services, is in search of a compassionate, caring, and growth-minded bachelor level community support specialists.

About your Role:
- Provide family engagement facilitation other essential life skills supportive services.
- Provide education around trauma and its effects on children and families.
- Provide information and contacts for community resources.
- Provide appropriate level of supervision and intervention required by the referral source for parenting time cases.
- Provide information, contacts, and assistance to clients in regards to accessing community resources if part of case.
- Cooperate with the development of an action plan to include developing goals for visitation, family and parent coaching, and/or life skills, with the input of the Case Worker and the family.
- Work a flexible schedule that may specify part-time or as needed scheduling, including evenings and weekends, and be available for support when requested. Scheduled hours and days may vary for staff to meet current staffing needs. Utilize coaching and modeling strategies to align with and engage families using trauma informed care principles
Qualifications
Does the Following Apply to You?
- High School Diploma or equivalency required. Further coursework or education (Bachelors) in human services related field preferred.
- Six (6) months preferred relevant experience
- Knowledge of local agencies and other community resources that may serve youth, families, and foster care services.
- Proof of valid Driver License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
