The job is a fast-paced, demanding position, planning and coordinating the pickups and deliveries for the Whitehorse service area

As a Dispatcher, the key responsibilities are:

• Supervising Dock Workers and City Drivers
• Load planning and coordinating pickups and deliveries.
• Apt booking, rescheduling of pros
• Adding comments to justify non-service deliveries
• Communicating with internal and external customer
• Printing labels
• Delegating 
• Leading
• Safety 
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of Whitehorse and surrounding area
• Experienced with LTL load planning and city/rural route planning
• Excellent phone and email communicator
• Experience with multi-tasking
• Able to Delegate effectively
• Safety Minded, 
• Knowledge of TDG
• Can Multitask
• Computer fluent
• Team Leader
• AS/400 experience, will train.
