As a Class 1 Local P&D Driver based in Athabasca, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting daily pick-up and delivery operations in the Athabasca area and surrounding regions, operating both straight trucks and day-cab vehicles on a Monday to Friday schedule, with a 4 am start time and occasional Saturday work
• Ensuring safety and compliance by performing thorough vehicle inspections, adhering to traffic laws, and maintaining accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery records
• Efficiently managing cargo, including loading, unloading, and securing freight using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining effective communication with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Contributing to operational efficiency through route optimization, vehicle maintenance, and participation in ongoing training and safety programs

• Class 1 license with knowledge of hours of service, load securement, TDG, WHMIS, and forklift operation
• Knowledge of oilfield safety regulations required
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Class 1 driver with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
• Reliable, dependable, and hard-working with strong time management and communication skills
• Knowledge of the Athabasca area and willingness to relocate
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate GPS and mobile communication devices
• Must provide criminal record check, driver abstract, and 2 work-related references
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime and Saturdays as needed
• Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor
