To provide prompt, efficient pickup and delivery of LTL freight into and out of the city and surrounding areas while providing quality service to our customers.

• Inspects truck and trailer for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition

• Ensure freight is properly loaded on the trailer to avoid claims and for delivery and unloading purposes

• Read all paperwork checking for instructions such as appointment times, handling instructions, delivery instructions, etc.

• Pick up and deliver LTL freight without delay or damage

• Ensure all paperwork is properly completed

• Drive in a defensive and courteous manner- this is a rolling advertisement for the company

• Develop a good rapport with customers - everything you say or do reflects on the company 

• Other duties may be assigned.

A knowledge of load security, forklift experience, professional driver improvement course (covers items such as accident reporting, DG, etc.)

Valid class 5 License
