Job Description

  We are open to training an individual for Western Canada, but that training could take place in the East. This program has successfully produced many Terminal Managers in our network which is why we are again looking to develop someone. You will learn the LTL business during training of approximately 6 months, to 1 year. Please only apply if you are willing to be relocated as there will be assistance for a move. Some skills you will learn, or refine your knowledge of, are: -Daily P&D operations -Managing Daily Terminal Operations -Ensuring Health & Safety Standards are followed -Controlling and maintaining financial targets -Monitor and control of daily reports -Working closely with customer base -Ensuring Service Standards targets are met -Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met -Training of Terminal staff as required -Other duties as assigned  

    Trainees perform a combination of observation, actual work experience and leadership soft skills training. Each individual will gain exposure to the different facets of the business. Some time will be spent in the field with Sales, Operations, and other business units. The program also includes external training courses specific to enhancing each trainee’s management potential.

TDG Certified

Forklift Certification

 • Eager and willing to learn

 • Excellent problem solving skills • Leadership experience • Knowledge of the Transportation Industry would be considered an asset
