Job Description

Based out of our Brampton location, you will be responsible for securing new customers, introducing new services to existing customers and managing a current account base. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Telemarket existing customers and prospective customers to solicit business and explain the services of the company to the client using SPIN selling techniques.  
  • Following up with all customers regarding rate requests, increases, claims, service failures, and concerns.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions for corporate internal use i.e. new business, lost business, competition, questionnaires, sales leads, etc.  
  • Send out information as requested by customer. 
  • Obtain, forward and answer sales leads. 
  • Contact customers on misc. cash collects. 
  • Perform rate quotations over the phone and rate adjustments on problem billing. 
  • Responsible for securing new business and maintaining existing accounts. 
  • Resolve misc. day to day problems. 
  • Aid and support outside sales reps. 
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must be computer literate
  • Good communication skills including proficiency at listening, selling (persuasion), problem solving, SPIN selling techniques, etc.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Competent math skills ie. cubing, calculation of rates, etc.
  • Proficient with geography.
  • Must be flexible as job requires being able to deal effectively with changing circumstances, customer demands, last minute requests, deadlines and daily stress.
  • Organized and able to manage time well.
  • Sales experience and industry knowledge are assets
