Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The HR manager is responsible for managing the human resources department through developing and implementing human resources strategies and plans in order to improve people performance, competencies and commitment. Also, he shall develop policies which ensure department’s compliance with international standards and best practices. • On the other hand, he shall manage, and handle all work related to employee relations such as complaints, legal papers, advance, overtimes, NSSF, .etc. Finally, the HR manager is held accountable for executing the payroll and controlling employees’ attendance and schedules.
TASKS & DUTIES
· Develops the budgeting plan in collaboration with company’s management and operations team based on historical data. His/her work on identifying the labor cost and identifying the structure of each business model. · Supports the management team to determine resourcing needs, training needs and strategies by which talents are attracted and retained. · Creates motivational tools customized to company’s culture, and recognition programs that enhance employees’ and workers’ productivity. · Collaborates with operations’ team to identify training needs and promote people skills and competencies. · Implements compensation and benefits plans which are aligned to human resources policies. · Designs and applies the performance management system through organizing interviews which aim to review employees’ performance. · Initiates programs and projects focusing on establishing human resources departments’ pillars such as: career path, merit increase, incentive scheme, grading system, etc. · Manages and controls employees’ files and records to make sure that all documents related to employees are available. · Determines legal gaps in the HR department in collaboration with company’s lawyer, NSSF representative, and government representative. · Prepares monthly payroll reports that should be provided to the management team including all important indicators. · Monitors daily employees’ attendance using attendance software and time sheets filled by branch managers. · Receives and tracks employment applications to maintain accurate record for applications. · Collaborates with advertising agencies in order to post job announcements and advertisements on newsletters, journals, etc. · Receives the excel time sheet filled by employees at the end of each month. · Manages and controls major processes related to the HR department mainly the ones governing the hiring of people, induction of new joiners, warnings, leaves requests, disciplinary actions, raises, and promotions. · Receives transfer, replacement, overtimes reports from branch managers continuously. · Collects papers available in branches that are related to human resources and employees. KPI’S (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS) · Speed in executing tasks and duties. · Meeting deadline. · Employee satisfaction rates. · Employee turnover rates. · Accuracy of payroll.
Qualifications
1. B.S. In Human Resources Management or any equivalent degree. Experience Required:
2. 10 years of working experience in the human resources field.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position. Knowledge Required
4. Fluent in Arabic, French and English
5. Computer literacy
