1. Ability to mig weld using dual shield (fluxcore) wire on heavy gage metal.
2. Monitoring the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion material.
3. Weld components in flat, vertical and overhead positions.
4. Ability to air arc
5. Cut apart pieces by using a welding torch
6. Build up material using hard surfacing wire

1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. 
2. Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints and assembly prints.
3. Ability to read tape measure, both standard and metric.
4. Ability to weld in all positions.
