Job Description
LOCATION: Alamance Regional Medical Center, ARMC-BREAST CARE CENTER
CITY: Burlington
JOB DETAILS:
Exempt: No | FTE: PRN/Relief | Schedule: As needed M-F | On Call: NO
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible to maintain regulatory and professional standards and exhibit strong decision-making capabilities. A close working relationship with Radiology leadership, radiologists, and the medical staff is required to maintain a cost-effective and patient-focused service. This position is responsible to provide care for patients undergoing Mammography procedures using the approved workflows and procedural protocols. Technologists in this position are required to assist with quality assurance related to MQSA, FDA, ACR accreditation. Technologists in this position are able to demonstrate full knowledge of Mammography equipment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Required
Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program.
EXPERIENCE:
0-1 year, Healthcare - Diagnostic Technologist, Required
1-2 years, Healthcare - Mammographer, Preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED
ARRT (R)(M) | MAMMOGRAPHY
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS
Must have above credentials and maintain at all times.
Additional Information
As of July 1, 2017, all new employees hired must be credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a RRT.formation will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
All Women’s Hospital Employees (Additional Requirements):
New employees are required to obtain Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential from the NBRC within one year of hire date or transfer date.
Moses Cone, Wesley Long, High Point MedCenter, Alamance Regional Medical Center, Annie Penn Employees:
ACLS and PALS certification required upon hire and must remain current.
Women’s Hospital employees must have ACLS upon hire and must remain current. In addition, new hires are required to complete the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire date or transfer date.
All Alamance Regional Medical Employees

NRP is required within 6 months of hire date or transfer date.
