Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will lead product efforts primarily on the partnership side of the business. Our partners leverage Mae to provide maternal health benefits to their members and employees. You’ll help formulate and execute a strategy that underscores the value Mae brings to our partners’ members and employees, enabling them to demonstrate a strong ROI for their business efforts and initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to be an early team member of a venture-backed digital health start-up.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Gather insights from our customers, the maternal health landscape, Customer Support, Growth, Care Coordination and Account Management teams - continuously - to inform decision making, prioritization and strategy.
- Formulate product goals and strategy that align with business objectives and insights from the market; advancing against these goals each week, month and quarter
- Execute product strategy using a hypothesis driven, data-informed approach to design customer studies to test and validate new product features
- Develop, maintain and evangelize a compelling roadmap
- Work closely with Design and Engineering counterparts to build, ship and learn quickly
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to gain alignment and achieve goals
Qualifications:
4+ years experience in product management in the digital health space, ideally experience with B2B and/or enterprise products.
Proven track record of successfully driving product improvements in lean and agile environments by using all types of learning: Hypothesis testing, MVPs, iterative development, user testing, data analysis, A/B testing, etc
Ability to balance design and technical tradeoffs; taking a scrappy and creative approach to solving customer needs
Demonstrate an "eye for design" ー building beautiful, simple user experiences in collaboration with designers
Comfortable with ambiguity that comes with doing something new, and working in a startup environment
A love for speaking with customers, and a natural inclination towards active listening, and consideration of multiple points of view
Entrepreneurial enthusiasm and collaborative approach to working and learning
Passion and commitment to improving maternal health and birthing experience of Black mothers.
