madelife is a launchpad for artists and entrepreneurs founded on mentorship and collaboration.

Our mission is to support and promote artists and creative entrepreneurs. We do this in numerous ways out of our 6000-square-foot store, gallery, black-box theater, sound studio, and collaborative workspace in Boulder, Colorado. We curate indie-modern goods and art from hundreds of local artists and designers, create and distribute our own line of art apparel and housewares, host monthly rotating art shows, produce live events and performances, record and produce video and music projects, and launch creative careers through our unique Creative Accelerator program.

Job Description

We support students and professionals in three highly competitive internship sessions in the fall, spring, and summer. We are offering an unpaid internship that typically last 13 weeks. Most interns commit 10-35 hours a week and hours are flexible depending on other commitments. We offer multiple ways for interns to learn and equip themselves with the necessary skills to move forward in their desired careers. We want to see interns accomplish their short term goals, long term goals, and have the best internship experience possible!

We are looking for photographers with considerable experience in product photography, event photography, adobe lightroom and photoshop. Photography interns will work alongside the head of our photography department shooting and editing store products, events, and promotional material. These interns must also be available some evenings for event shooting.
