Our firm is seeking an experienced Industrial Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. Macroseal, Inc. is a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of Industrial Fluid Sealing Products. We provide “Engineered Sealing Solutions” to customers worldwide. The successful Inside Sales person will focus on new customer acquisition, servicing our existing customers and website inquiries. Your responsibilities will include: product technical support, problem-solving, providing quotations, order entry, and purchasing. The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You must be highly organized, have a strong mechanical aptitude, self motivated, and eager to provide excellent customer service.

Job Description

Inside Sales Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming inquiries, cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
  • Understanding our products and applying that knowledge when offering the customer solutions and support
  • Work with customer CAD drawings, specifications and tolerance requirements 
  • Work with our engineering, CAD and manufacturing departments in support of your customers’ orders.
  • Supporting our outside sales team when closing sales 
  • Provide customer quotations, enter sales orders, perform quality assurance audits on your work, and customer follow-ups

Inside Sales Requirements and Qualifications

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with new and potential customers
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Understanding of mechanical process equipment
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Associate/ Bachelors preferred 
  • Ability to remain focused and personable in fast paced and high stress situations 
  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Previous experience in industrial inside sales, or related sales experience required
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks
  • Ability to use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications

Additional Information

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, with occasional overtime required. Starting Salary Range: $40K-$45K depending on experience and aptitude. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
