Job Description

Major building materials and engineering design company is in search of a  Sr. Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.

•Thorough knowledge of Equipment Safety Procedure such as lock out and tag out, and proper usage of PPE is important.
•Minimum of 3 years in troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical Control Systems in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment is required.
•Capability of programming and configuring PLC and Electrical Control Systems is a must.
•Ability to maintain, complete and correct schematics, bills of material and PLC programs.
•Experience in new equipment installation consisting of overhead crane operation to unload equipment, leveling, line up and final power hook ups is a must.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD 2007 is a plus.
•Flexibility to travel up to 60 percent of the year with weekend work as a standard part of schedule is a required.

Qualifications

Candidate Must Have:
5+ to 7 years of experience
Minimum Education - High School or Equivalent
Willingness to Travel - Occasionally

Travel is an essential function of the position
Must qualify for AMEX credit card
