SAP BI/BW DEVELOPER

JTSi is looking for an experienced SAP BI/BW professional with experience in BI/BW and SAP HANA Modeling.

Ø  ETL Processes including data extraction, data modeling, BeX Reporting and good analytical skills to support ongoing enhancement, operations and maintenance activities for our federal government clients.

Ø  Create and maintain SAP design and technical documents, develop, test and validate reporting functionality and performance.

Ø  ETL processes by extracting data from multiple source systems (ECC, CRM, SRM and Supplier Self Service) to and from BW System.

Ø  Design create business intelligence reports and sets up daily broadcast.

Ø  Performs business intelligence system upgrades.

Ø  Support SAP-IP (Integrated Planning) and 508 compliance Work Streams.

Ø  Build and enhance BI objects InfoObjects, InfoCubes, InfoSources, Data Sources, Master Data, Transfer Rules and Transformations, ODS, Extractors, InfoSets, Virtual Providers, Aggregates, Process Chains, User Exits.

Ø  Develop, enhance, and maintain custom and standard extractors (ECC, CRM, SRM and SUS), transformations, and application of business rules.

Ø  Activate and enhance standard BI Content and Extractors including but not limited to Logistics Cockpit extractors and content.

Ø  Develop, enhance and maintain Integrated Planning objects like aggregation Levels, planning sequences, planning functions (FOX), APD and WAD planning layouts

Ø  Design, develop, enhance BI Reports using BeX Query Designer and BeX Report Designer tools.

Ø  SAP SLT, Data provision from different sources such as ECC, SRM, CRM and worked on HANA table enhancements using SLT LTRS

Ø  Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production support problems including process chain and data load errors.

Ø  Develop and suggest alternative approaches to resolving problems.

Ø  Analyzes and conducts performance tuning of data extractions and reports

Ø  Adhere to BW/BI best practices and standards to maintain stable Business Information environment.

Ø  End-user security authorization for access of reports.

Ø  Conduct technical assessment of issues/bugs/enhancements, develop solutions based on system and SAP standards.

Ø  Design comprehensive BI solutions, translating complex requirements into an optimal BI design

Ø  Perform requirements gathering and validation, solution design, report development, unit testing and authoring project technical documents.

Ø  Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer review of development objects.

Ø  Analyze customer's business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements and LOE estimation

Ø  Developing and maintaining SAP design and technical specification documents

Ø  Conduct unit, integration and release testing to validate functionality

Ø  Support end-users Acceptance Testing activities

Ø  Production Operations and Release Management support

Ø  Develop BI data warehouse architecture within the Business Objects environment

Ø  Configure BW data objects, InfoObjects, InfoSources, Transformations, ODS, Cubes, Info Providers, and multi providers

Ø  SAP source system data with BW data and ability to analyze and fix data issues

Ø  ABAP programming, write and debug programs, CMOD, Transformation and Function Module levels.

Ø  Performance analysis and tuning experience

Ø  Minimum 5 years recent experience with above referenced accomplishments.

Ø  SAP BW/BI 7.3 or higher, Business Objects 4.x suite, SAP ASAP methodology, SDLC, O&M support, MS Office-Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ø  Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, FI, CRM, SRM and SUS.

Ø  Experience working on Large DoD/Army project team and BW/BI Upgrade.

Ø  Certifications – SAP Modeling, Data Management, SAP BW 7.x.

Ø  Management – providing status information, suggesting corrective actions.

Ø  MUST Be US Citizen for DoD NACI Clearance.

Ø  Ability to work on site in Fairfax, Virginia Location Monday thru Friday

Ø  Education - BS or BA degree in STEM or related Fields.
