At Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort, great food experiences don't happen without great people. We're looking for a reliable and energetic Kitchen Attendant to join our team and help keep our busy kitchen and food truck running smoothly. Located in beautiful Yamba, this is a fantastic opportunity to work where others come to holiday. Whether you're looking to kick-start your hospitality career or already have kitchen experience, you'll be part of a supportive team and play an important role in making sure our kitchen is clean, organised, stocked and ready for service.
What you'll do:
- Support our kitchen team with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
- Keep kitchen, food preparation and dishwashing areas clean, organised and running efficiently.
- Wash and maintain cooking equipment, utensils and kitchen tools.
- Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient preparation as required.
- Help maintain high food safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage team.
What you'll bring:
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a busy team.
- An interest in hospitality, food preparation and kitchen operations.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members.
- Good communication skills and a team-first approach.
- A Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays and peak holiday periods.
