  • Great opportunity for locals seeking long-term career growth and development

What you’ll do:

We are seeking two experienced full-time Food & Beverage Supervisors to join our team at Strahan Village. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll play a key role in elevating the food and beverage offering across the property. You'll lead and support your team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, exceptional service delivery and memorable guest experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for hospitality professionals looking to make a meaningful, long-term impact.

While each Supervisor will have a dedicated venue focus, you'll work closely together to support daily operations, lead your teams and deliver a seamless, high-quality guest experience across all food and beverage outlets.

Our first Supervisor opportunity will oversee View 42 Restaurant & Lounge Bar. Combining a renowned buffet offering, large-scale group dining, special events and an elevated lounge bar experience, this is a dynamic leadership role for an experienced hospitality professional. You'll lead and inspire the team, drive exceptional service standards and create memorable guest experiences while maintaining the polished, premium atmosphere View 42 is known for. We're seeking a hands-on leader with strong event and function experience, confidence managing high-volume buffet service and a genuine passion for cocktails, wine and premium hospitality.

Our second Supervisor opportunity will oversee Hamer's Bar & Bistro. As the heart of Strahan Village's local food and beverage scene, Hamer's combines classic bistro dining with a vibrant bar atmosphere, welcoming both guests and locals alike. You'll lead the day-to-day operation of the venue, support and develop your team while ensuring exceptional service, strong operational performance and memorable guest experiences. We're seeking a hands-on hospitality leader with a passion for people, proven leadership experience and strong food and beverage knowledge, including confidence in bar operations, local beer, wine and spirit offerings. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing team leadership, service excellence and genuine West Coast hospitality.

If you have a preferred venue, please let us know in your application.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience leading food and beverage teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate, coach and develop team members to achieve exceptional results
  • Strong operational knowledge across restaurant, bar, buffet, function or event service environments
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences, with a reputation for providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Confidence managing competing priorities while maintaining high service standards in a busy environment
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage trends, wine varieties and food and wine pairings
  • Strong beverage knowledge, including cocktails, wine and premium bar service (particularly desirable for the View 42 opportunity)
  • Current RSA and DoFoodSafely certification
  • A current driver's licence and own vehicle, due to the remote location
