We're looking for an experienced and adaptable Relief Manager to join our Operations team and provide critical leadership support across our portfolio of holiday parks and resorts. This unique role is perfect for a hospitality or tourism leader who thrives on variety, enjoys new challenges and can quickly build strong relationships in different environments.

From supporting Park Managers during leave and leadership vacancies to assisting properties through operational change, peak periods or targeted business initiatives, you'll help keep our parks performing at their best.

This highly mobile role will see you travel extensively across some of Australia's most loved holiday destinations, stepping in wherever support is needed most. Flexibility, independence and a hands-on leadership style are essential, along with a passion for helping teams succeed and delivering great guest experiences.

What you will do:

As a Relief Manager, you'll be deployed where operational support is needed most. Depending on the assignment, you may:

  • Step into temporary leadership of a park or resort during periods of leave or leadership vacancies
  • Support Park or Resort Managers and operational leaders with targeted projects and business priorities
  • Help properties navigate operational challenges or periods of peak demand
  • Coach, mentor and develop team leaders and department managers
  • Drive guest experience improvements and operational excellence
  • Support commercial performance, workforce planning and cost management
  • Assist with business improvement initiatives, operational reviews and change management projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legislative and operational standards
  • Build capability and embed best practice across the portfolio

What you will bring:

We're looking for someone who can quickly establish credibility, adapt to changing environments and confidently lead diverse teams.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience leading holiday parks, resorts, hotels or hospitality operations
  • Strong operational leadership across multiple departments
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen
  • A track record of improving team performance and guest satisfaction
  • Experience supporting teams through change and operational challenges
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to remain calm, decisive and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Essential Requirements

  • Current Working With Children Check (state applicable)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Valid Australian Driver Licence
  • Ability and willingness to travel flexibly and extensively 
  • Own self-contained caravan, motorhome, campervan or mobile accommodation suitable for extended stays while onsite
