What You'll Do

Join our Corporate Finance team as a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst.  In this full-time permanent role, you will be responsible for completing research, modelling and analysis to inform setting and achievement of appropriate return metrics across the NRMA Group BAU operations and through some M&A transactions.

This role is a hybrid work opportunity where you will be required to work across our Sydney CBD and Sydney Olympic Park offices.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct financial modelling and business case evaluations to inform key strategic decisions, presenting commercial recommendations to stakeholders
  • Perform project feasibility and scenario modelling for new business development opportunities, including cost/benefit analysis using DCF and PV calculations
  • Organise and analyse complex data sets using business intelligence tools and communicate insights through data visualisation.
  • Benchmark the Group’s performance against industry and market participants
  • Assist with internal and external business valuations, investment appraisals, and the management of the acquisition and disposal process for current and future business
  • Assist with drafting of Board & investment committee papers, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Support regular and ad hoc reporting, including month-end reporting of Group financial results including performing variance analysis against targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors across Group Finance and Strategy.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • CA/CPA/CFA qualified or currently working towards
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in an analytical role within corporate finance, commercial development, valuations, or FP&A
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Ability to challenge thinking and work effectively within a matrix organisation
  • Experience with TM1, Tableau, Power BI, AI tools, or Python (desirable not essential)
  • Experience in M&A from feasibility/due diligence to deal management is a plus but not essential
