Job Description
Our on-site cafe offers a delicious menu of innovative food at reasonable prices. Open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch, and Wednesday to Sunday for dinner. The cafe is fully licensed, offers an a la carte & takeaway menu and wine list that is sure to please all palates and cater for all budgets
What you will do:
Ready for your next step in the kitchen? As our Chef, you’ll be at the heart of our culinary operations, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver delicious meals and memorable experiences for our guests.
- Support the Head Chef
- Assist with daily kitchen operations, menu execution and ensure quality standards are met.
- Step up and lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, showing off your leadership and initiative.
- Mentor & Supervise
- Oversee and support our apprentice chef, helping them grow and learn with hands-on guidance.
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work as part of a passionate kitchen crew, contributing your ideas and energy to keep things fun and fresh.
- Maintain High Standards
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with NRMA Parks & Resorts standards.
- Career Growth

What you will bring
- 1–2 years’ experience as a qualified chef (post-apprenticeship).
- A love for food, teamwork, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Confidence to supervise an apprentice and step up when the Head Chef is away.
- Extensive understanding and practice of food safety and hygiene standards
- Enthusiasm, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and have fun in a dynamic environment.
