What you’ll do:

Our Food and Beverage offering is fully licensed, with an a la carte, in room, cafe and poolside dining menu and wine list that will please all palates and cater for all budgets.  The resort also houses a conference and events facility which can accommodate up to 180 people, for wedding, conferences, or corporate events.

We pride ourselves on excellent guest services and ensuring those that stay with us have a memorable experience!  Under the direction of the Head Chef, you will be responsible for kitchen coordination including, prep, service, portion and stock control and for the supervision and training of other kitchen staff as required.  

What you’ll bring:  

• A qualification in commercial cookery, or applicable trade testing
• Previous experience in a restaurant, club kitchen, resort, or café
• A working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety
• Experience in ordering and stock control
• Willing to be part of a greater team and jump in to assist as needed, whether it be during daily service or a large event
• A passion for your trade and for creating and presenting contemporary dishes using local produce
• Demonstrated excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work productively in a fast-paced, buzzing work environment, dealing with a high volume of covers in times of peak demand or in servicing group bookings
