Job Description
What You’ll Do
The Regional Manager is accountable for the management and oversight of service providers within the Country Network that consists of contracted and subcontracted entities, the network functions 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
- The position demands a high level of strategic, commercial and people leadership skills, negotiation and influencing capability, attention to detail and a desire to drive continuous improvement, all whilst safely and efficiently mobilising a large and diverse field based workforce.
- Within this context, the Regional Manager will drive the future vision for the network to ensure the NRMA can continue to maintain service continuity, coverage and sustainability, whilst delivering a high customer experience.
- This role will drive continuous improvement and ensure that our Customer engagement remains aligned with our aspiration to be the number one provider of Roadside Assistance in the market.
- A car and fuel card are provided for this role as it requires travel out to our country / regional service providers.
- This role will be covering the South / Southeast areas of NSW, currently from Wollongong to Albury. As a part of the role responsibilities, you could be away for a few days at a time as required and accommodation for these trips will be provided.
What You'll Bring
- Leadership experience in managing a large field workforce.
- Extensive contractor management experience, including negotiating service agreements and commercial terms.
- Performance monitoring and improvement capabilities.
- Extensive management experience in a customer service environment.
- Business/commercial acumen with financial and business skills.
- Exceptional data analytical skills with strategic thinking.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and decision-making.
- Proven ability to deliver outcomes aligned with company values and culture.
- Willingness to travel to our regional network as needed, typically 5 to 10 business days per month.
