SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join the Finance team full-time until May 2025.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, and partnering with the Marketing and Sales team, you will be responsible for leading analysis and reporting on activities to drive profitable revenue growth that will be key to the SIXT Australia business achieving its ambitious growth targets.
This is a hybrid opportunity, working between our offices at Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney CBD and working from home as well as sites across Australia as agreed and required for the role.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a key business partner and financial expert to the National Sales Accounts and Marketing teams
- Building and maintaining productive and trusted working relationships and influence across business functions
- Acting as a thought-leader by identifying areas of opportunity for the business, applying critical thinking over datasets, and challenging findings and recommendations where necessary to maximise business outcomes
- Clearly articulating and presenting analysis, insights, and recommendations to various stakeholder groups
- Ensuring timely preparation, distribution, and presentation of financial performance and key performance indicators (vs forecast and vs trends)
- Feeding into and preparing accurate modelling, and presenting summaries for the annual budget and forecasts
- Managing and prioritising own workload, as well as managing stakeholder expectations and timelines
- Contributing to the direct team’s success by supporting broader team activities and initiatives
- Developing reporting and tools to support business decision-making using a range of available tools (e.g. Excel, TM1, Tableau, Qlikview, etc.)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications
- CA / CPA qualified (preferred)
- Strong data analysis, modelling and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to make the complex simple and be adaptive to various levels of commercial savvy throughout the business
- Ability to adapt to shifting business requirements and priorities, and pick up new databases and systems quickly
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using financial systems and Business Intelligence tools in a commercial environment (e.g. TM1, Tableau, Qlikview, etc.)
- Ability to work in Australia
