Job Description

What you will do:

Reporting into the Regional Director - Operations, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing dedicated executive level of administration support on a day to day basis to the operations team and other Leadership Team members.  You will ensure that on-site, park managers and their teams are fully supported in their roles.  You will also ensure that the management unit is compliant, profitable, and sustainable and achieves business plan objectives through the provision of a high standard of management services, accommodation offerings, activities and associated services.  This is 12 month maternity leave contract.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Assisting other coordinators to provide incoming and outgoing correspondence to guests, residents and long-term casuals, including the drafting of all communication and agreements
  • Constructing and sharing written responses to guest complaints in consultation with the Operations Manager
  • Assisting in ensuring that all front office systems and functions at various properties are managed in line with company policies, procedures and standards
  • Assisting the Operations Manager to ensure that properties comply with cash flow management strategies. These include but are not limited to; debt obligations, payroll, debtor's management, supplier payments, banking processes, cash float and petty cash management, and bank reconciliation sign off
  • Assist with park management handovers which may involve interstate travel
  • Assist with park acquisitions which may involve interstate travel
  • Conduct training as required with property’s on the reservation system

What you will bring:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role, providing support to senior managers
  • Reservation system software experience (advantageous)
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and be highly organised
  • The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • The flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in holiday parks is (advantageous)
