Job Description

We are seeking a highly accountable, smart, creative builder who will serve as an advocate for our people and empower individuals and teams to be successful.  The Director of People Development will be responsible for creating and executing the learning strategy and programs across the company. This individual must be passionate about helping people thrive and expand on existing skills.  

What you’ll do…

  • Build and execute powerful onboarding for all teams at MX - getting team members up to speed and effective quickly in their roles

  • Build customized training and development for the teams across MX

  • Collaborate with HR to build a connection between leveling and career development

  • Evaluate needs across the organization and work with teams to be successful through development programs

  • Build a leadership development system within MX that increases team member capacity to be successful in any role

  • Be the learning and development thought leader, supporting and coaching individuals across the organization

  • Bring in speakers and industry leaders to foster continued growth for team members

  • Play a primary role in knowledge and communications at MX; determining where team members access information and driving clarity on which tools to be used to effectively communicate across the organization

You’ll do it using…

  • Your minimum of 8-10 years demonstrating passion and experience in Learning & Development

  • Your track record of building and executing Learning & Development plans for a variety of teams across a company

  • Your ability to know and teach the key competencies that drive success in a fast-paced environment

  • Your attention to detail and organizational acumen

  • Your unique personality of being exuberant and outgoing while connecting with people of varying backgrounds and experiences

  • Your ability to forecast and manage project timelines in parallel (starting with the end in mind)

  • Your natural ability to have a multiplier effect on the people you manage

  • Your calm and cheerful demeanor while working under pressure

  • Your natural ability to coach, mentor and lift others around you

  • Your ability to use business tools; including online L&D programs and Google/Microsoft collaboration and communication tools
