Are you looking for a fun and challenging job within the Sales organization? If so, we have an immediate need of a qualified Sales Trainer responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging and effective learning content to our Sales/Partnerships teams that holds our organization to high standards for sales performance. What you’ll do:

  • Develop and deliver sales-specific training (in-person and e-Learning) for employees within the Sales/Partnerships teams in the following areas: financial services industry, MX product suite, sales methodology/acumen, technical, system tools/processes, legal, security and pricing

  • Design practice exercises, monitor participant progress and answer questions that arise from training activities relating to onboarding, continuing education and certification

  • Identify struggling learners and provide additional 1-1 practice with feedback as necessary to reinforce skills taught during training sessions and focus on the successful application of the learning to their role

  • Manage all activities surrounding trainings to ensure successful engagement from Sales/Partnerships team member participants from preparation, execution and follow-up

  • Manage the adoption and engagement with the MX’s sales and coaching software to enable team members to be self-sufficient learners driving efficiencies in their role

  • Work with sales leadership to identify gaps in training delivery and implement creative solutions that promote overall sales growth and performance

How you'll do it:

  • Deliver effective and relevant training that meets the needs of a wide variety of learning styles, experience levels and personalities leveraging the use of different instructional methods to ensure maximum delivery effectiveness, including individual or small group instruction, self-study, simulation/role-play exercises, etc.

  • Monitor and report on training sessions to ensure the maximum effectiveness by continuously improving and facilitating sessions specific to on-boarding, continuing education and certification via a Sales participant feedback loop and leveraging the sales and coaching software analytics

  • Monitor trainees’ knowledge before and after training to help determine follow-up training required

  • Provide feedback to the content creators on curriculum gaps or enhancements that are needed

  • Stay current in relevant learning, sales and business trends and maintain a deep understanding of our clients, their businesses and our industry


What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Required 2+ years experience in sales training and coaching that demonstrates an ability to facilitate effective training content with a commitment to delivering results that directly impact the Sales team’s ability to hit revenue targets

  • Banking or financial services industry experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with The Challenger Sale methodology desired

  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Ability to create and deliver a sales training agenda, the content required and the test to gauge the participant's comprehension and abilities

  • Ability to communicate complex information and process in a streamlined, easy-to-understand fashion

  • Solid time management and prioritization skills with the ability to balance workload and actively takes initiative to complete projects and drive ideas that benefit the team

  • Strong financial and business acumen with a willingness and capability to learn new software tools and applications quickly and efficiently

  • Intellectual curiosity with a vested interest in continuous learning about and improving, both the company and one’s self
