As a Welding Robotics Specialist, you will be part of our team located in Chattanooga - TN You will get to:

  • Work with new designs and accessories for welding and robotics machines to make them efficient, productive and ergonomic.
  • Training operators and team leaders on proper weld setup, quality, maintenance and productivity.
  • Provide support to large companies, new installations, integration, mechanical and electronic support, maintain equipment.
  • Continuously improve current welding and robotic cells to make them more operator friendly, increase productivity and increase quality.
  • Plan and recommend future equipment and facility requirements.
  • Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with new welding and robotic machine designs and accessories to make them efficient, productive and ergonomic

  • Operator and crew leader training on proper weld setup, quality, maintenance, and productivity

  • Make continuous improvements to current welding and robotic cells to make them more operator friendly, increase productivity and increase quality

  • Plan and recommend future equipment and facility requirements

  • Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures

What you should bring:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience working on robotic weld cell integration
  • Must have previous experience with production MIG/MAG welding, Spot welding, Laser
  • Must understand how to configure weld parameters to ensure proper weld fusion and weld quality
  • Ability to test and inspect welds for defects and correct problems
  • Experience programming and configuring robots
  • Understand process requirements in welding and robotic safety
  • Specific knowledge in equipment such as SKS Welding Machines, Fronius, Esab, Lincoln, Müller, H&W Spot Welding, Bosch, Trump Laser Systems, Scansonic, Plasmo
  • Knowledge in the development, assembly, and integration of robotic cells, mechanics, electronics, PLC, device adjustments, specific configurations
  • Special applications like Atlas Copco IAS Brand Sealants, BÖLLHOFF Equipment
  • Technical Knowledge of Robots from the Brands YASKAWA (MOTOMAN) KUKA, FANUC, ABB, HYUNDAI
  • We are a Multinational company and for that to provide support in several countries it is essential to master the languages ??– German – English – Spanish – Portuguese

Qualifications

 What we expect:

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience working on robotic welding cells
  • Must have previous experience with production MIG and smile to point
  • Must understand how to set resistance patterns to ensure proper adhesion fusion and weld quality
  • Ability to test and inspect welds for defects and correct problems
  • Have experience with robot programming and configuration
  • Understand the technical qualification requirements in robotic suffering and safety
