Job Description

The Senior Associate will play a key role in the delivery of fund administration services to private market clients with a focus on real asset structures. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books and records, preparing financial and investor reporting, and supporting all accounting and operational aspects of clients serviced through the Yardi platform. The Senior Associate will act as a key point of contact for clients, auditors, and internal teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to deadlines.

  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and supporting schedules for assigned real asset funds utilizing Yardi.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE).
  • Process capital activity calculations and notices, including capital calls and distributions.
  • Perform NAV calculations, prepare investor-level reporting, and conduct management and carried interest computations.
  • Coordinate and review property-level data, valuations, and performance metrics for consolidation at the Fund level.
  • Review and reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and investment transactions.
  • Support the annual audit and tax processes by liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and clients as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancements of systems and workflows within Yardi and related tools.
  • Mentor junior team members and review their work to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely reporting and prompt resolution of queries

Qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress

  • Demonstrable experience working in the fund administration industry or audit

  • Experience working with real asset structures (Property, REIT, SPV, JV, Co-Invest)

  • Experience with Yardi or other accounting software

  • Strong understanding of investment fund structures and private markets accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and validate financial data for accuracy and completeness.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with commitment to meeting deadlines.

  • Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage client relationships.
