Company Description
The warranty auditor for this role will be responsible for South Africa and the rest of the international, with remote audits most of the time, experience in warranty audit in commercial and heavy vehicles will be the preference with international experience in audit.
Job Description
Objectives – Warranty Compliance Audit
To identify reasons for out of claim auditing behaviour and establish an action plan to counter non-conformities found.
Non-conformities are to result in Chargeback to the Dealer.
The audit will result in an Administrative Performance Index to identify the Dealer’s compliance level.
Objectives – Dealers Standards Audit
- To evaluate the network condition, quality of premises and find out any points needing care.
- Address the findings to the OEM Team for further action.
Job Role
To execute the Audit in Warranty and Dealer Standards by ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
Requires specific technical skills in reviewing warranty claims received from the dealer.
Technical skills include:
Looking into the propriety of warranty claims.
Specific technical knowledge on automotive parts.
Reviewing job cards.
Reviewing supporting documentation and repair information.
Executes the Audit by ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
Degree in Engineering / Diploma in Engineering.
Experience
Candidates should meet one of the following experience requirements:
Currently working or have worked in the past as a Warranty Auditor in warranty processing for any manufacturer.
OR
Currently working or have worked in the past as a Warranty Supervisor/Executive with a 4-wheeler automobile dealership, with an overall experience of minimum 5 years.

Deep understanding of the Audit Process and Key Check Areas.
Technical know-how.
Dealer Debit understanding.
Technical & Process Skills
Strong technical and process knowledge in Automobile Aftersales Operations.
Ability to understand and identify non-conformities on SOPs related to:
Technical diagnosis.
FRH.
RO documentation.
Ability to understand and identify error areas in workshop processes, such as:
Errors in diagnosis.
Labour time calculation errors.
Errors in parts and consumables claimed.
Good technical know-how to verify failed parts and applicable supporting documentation on repairs completed.
Computer Skills
Computer literacy and competency in:
Microsoft Office Suite.
Microsoft Excel.
Microsoft PowerPoint.
Educational Qualifications
