Job Description

MSX are currently seeking a Warranty Audit Consultant for the UK market. The role is to provide in depth reviews of Dealer warranty operations focusing on repair capabilities and potential Audit risk.

The Warranty Audit Consultant will also provide structured warranty audit for the UK Dealer network on correct claim submission, warranty procedures, and policies.

The Warranty Audit Consultant will mainly cover all parts of the UK the successful applicant should be willing to travel with nights away.

Job Role: 

  • Working within a team looking after the UK.
  • Analysis of Dealer historical warranty cost performance
  • Conduct Dealer on-site Warranty audits
  • Manual review of pre-selected paid claims and associated dealer documentation to validate that correct administrative procedures have been followed and that the selected claims were appropriate in all respects.
  • Advise Dealer with respect to warranty processes and compliance with the manufacturer’s Warranty
  • Prepare detailed reports on inaccurate claims, areas
  • Present close meeting reports while still on site.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in Warranty and have an in-depth knowledge of the motor industry.
  • Alternatively, we will also consider applicants with strong Aftersales and Warranty Process knowledge and three years of technical/workshop experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of policy and procedure as well as workshops’ processes
  • Knowledge of both car would be advantageous, however not essential.
  • Ability to liaise and interact with all levels within the dealer network.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage own workload.

  • Team player but must have a pro-active approach and provide new ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Strong business acumen process orientated with attention to detail.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication ability as well as demonstrating a high standard of interpersonal and numerical skills
  • Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group is a plus
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive personality
  • Personal qualities, credibility, and a commitment to the brand.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • PC literacy is essential

Additional Information

Full time 40 hours (Monday – Friday) with some degree of flexibility, also to be available to work overtime if required. Travel in the UK is essential with time away from home.
