Job Description
The SLS Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decisions across the Service Lane Solutions team. This position is responsible for identifying target dealers, monitoring performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to support coaching and development of team members. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze dealer performance data to identify high-potential targets and underperforming accounts.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with team leads to translate data insights into coaching opportunities and performance improvement plans.
- Design and implement data models and statistical analyses to support business initiatives.
- Prepare and present clear, concise analytics reports to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Document business rules, data flows, and reporting methodologies.
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in automotive operations or a fast-paced business environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Alteryx, KNIME).
- Background in multi-dimensional reporting, data mining, and predictive analytics.
- Previous experience in a client-facing or cross-functional team environment.
